Kieran Tierney has been reportedly withdrawn from the Scotland squad ahead of internationals this month as Arsenal look to ease his return from injury.
The 21-year-old, who came through the ranks at Celtic, joined Arsenal on deadline day for a fee of £25m.
However, Arsenal fans are yet to see Tierney in action as the Scot continues to recover from a double hernia operation over the summer.
According to The Sun, following discussions with Arsenal's medical team, a decision has been reached to withdraw Tierney from internationals against Russia and San Marino.
Tierney featured in a Premier League 2 fixture for Arsenal against Wolverhampton Wanderers last month, spending 60 minutes on the pitch.
His prospective full-back partner, Hector Bellerin, is also closing in on a return to action after being sidelined since January due to a knee ligament injury.
