Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the Premier League fixture with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday.

Since this article was published, this game has been called off due to a coronavirus outbreak in the Wolverhampton Wanderers squad. A new date for the game will be confirmed in due course.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their next outing.

Status: Out
Type of injury: Coronavirus
Possible return date: Unknown

On Boxing Day, Arsenal announced that Cedric was one of three players who had tested positive for coronavirus, ruling them out for the remainder of 2021.

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Coronavirus
Possible return date: Unknown

While Chambers tested positive before the most recent trio, the Englishman was still unable to take his place on the substitutes' bench at Norwich City. Even if he recovers in time for Tuesday, the versatile defender will only be selected among the replacements at best.

Possible return date: Unknown

Tomiyasu had already emerged as a fitness doubt for the Norwich game before he was subsequently ruled out due to coronavirus. The Japanese will not return until the opening week of 2021.

Earlier this week, Maitland-Niles was said to be ill, but the versatile midfielder had not tested positive for coronavirus. However, that changed over Christmas, and he will not return until next year.

Sead Kolasinac

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Possible return date: December 28 (vs. Wolves)

Aubameyang has now been left out of Arsenal's last five games, stripped of the captaincy and banished from first-team training due to his disciplinary breach earlier this month. Until Arteta says otherwise, it can be assumed that the Gabon international remains out of contention.
