Good afternoon football fans! It's without a doubt the tie of the round as Premier League giants Arsenal and Spurs clash at the Emirates. The team news is just emerging in North London. Let's get straight to it...

Really interesting lineups from both managers then! Theo Walcott plays up front for Arsenal, with Olivier Giroud not fit enough to start for the hosts. New Spurs manager Tim Sherwood gives a debut to 19-year-old midfielder Nabil Bentaleb. Some game for it!

ARSENAL SUBS: Viviano, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Flamini, Ozil, Podolski, Ju-Young Park

SPURS SUBS: Friedel, Fredericks, Fryers, Capoue, Chadli, Kane, Obika

Right, more on the teams. Arsene Wenger has made four changes to the side that scraped past Cardiff in the Premier League on New Year's Day. Wojciech Szczesny, Per Mertesacker, Mathieu Flamini and Lukas Podolski come out, with Lukasz Fabianski, Thomas Vermaelen, Tomas Rosicky and Serge Gnabry coming in.

Spurs, meanwhile, make just one change from Wednesday's victory at Manchester United as Frenchman Bentaleb replaces Etienne Capoue.

The majority of the other third round ties are just entering the final 15 minutes and as things stand there's plenty of upsets on the cards. Arsenal go into today's match on top of the Premier League and the side directly behind them in the table, Manchester City, were in action in the early kickoff at Blackburn Rovers. They will have to have a replay after they could only manage a 1-1 draw against the Championship side.

REFEREE WATCH! The man with the whistle this evening is Mark Clattenburg. In every single game this season that Clattenburg has refereed involving either of these two sides, they have won. Something's got to give.

H2H! Arsenal have won three straight games against Spurs. When they met earlier this season Olivier Giroud's clever finish settled the game.

In the FA Cup, this is the sixth meeting between the two sides. Arsenal have won three, Spurs two. They last met in the third round in 1982 when Spurs won 1-0 at White Hart Lane.

Amazingly, Spurs have only been victorious at the Emirates once in their 24 league and cup trips. That was their 3-2 comeback win in November 2010.

PREDICTION TIME! Kickoff is edging ever nearer at the Emirates and with 10 minutes to go it's time for my prediction. I reckon it will be a draw but an entertaining one. 2-2.

Sherwood tells ITV Sport that today's game is much bigger than the Premier League game at Old Trafford three days ago. When Wenger is asked the same question, he says that he expects the same of his players no matter who they are playing.

Right, we're almost ready to go. Captains Vermaelen and Dawson lead their sides out of the tunnel to a jam-packed Emirates.

KICKOFF! Off we go under the lights in North London.

Strange from Fabianski as he just kicks the ball out of play. Spurs almost create a chance as Walker's cross is stabbed out for a corner by Koscielny.

CHANCE! First real opening comes in the fourth minute as Arsenal win the ball back in the corner before Gnabry sidesteps a pair of Tottenham tackles and cuts back for Walcott who can only drag his shot wide as the ball was behind him.

Former Gunner Adebayor is getting a pretty hostile reception from the home fans whenever he touches it.

CHANCE! Huge chance for Spurs as Koscielny's clearance hits Eriksen and falls kindly for the Dane. He just has Fabianski to beat from the left of the area and looks for the near post but is denied by the Arsenal keeper.

SAVE! I'm yet to be fully convinced by Walcott as a lone striker but this is brilliant from the Englishman. He takes Gnabry's firm pass well in his stride before letting fly from 20-odd yards and forcing Lloris into a save low to his right. Good hit, good save.

CLOSE! Arsenal are getting very, very close here! They come within inches of going ahead on two occasions as first Walcott's left-foot curler takes a slight deflection and dips wide before Gnabry cut inside onto his left foot and bent it just over the bar.

BOOKING! So much going on in the early stages of this game, just what we wanted! The first name in the book is Vermaelen as he fails to beat Dembele to the ball and takes out the Belgian. Free kick for Spurs in a good position...

Eriksen takes it on and hits it with plenty of power but not enough dip.

Cazorla is the latest Arsenal player to have a pop and his shot also drifts wide with Lloris confident that he didn't need to dive. Moments earlier Vermaelen slid in dangerously on Soldado but won the ball fairly. Very risky though as he's on a booking. Sherwood thought it was a foul and screamed at fourth official Martin Atkinson on the touchline.

CHANCE! Walcott's pace is worrying the Spurs centre-backs and this time he beats the offside trap to go through one-on-one against Lloris. His first touch means that the ball is a little behind him and he can only fire straight at Lloris.

Almost brilliant from Adebayor as he let the ball across his body before touching it into the area. Koscielny was almost fooled but recovered well to clear the danger.

The little Spaniard spanks the home side in front after being fed by Gnabry. The German had cut inside from the right and Walcott's run took the centre-backs away to give Cazorla space to fire across Lloris into the corner.

Wilshere's pace gets him a yard ahead of Dawson in the area but he can only find Lloris with the cross.

Half-chance for Walcott as Cazorla's corner is headed straight to him on the edge of the box but he hits his volley well over the top.

Arsenal threaten a second goal shortly before the break as Cazorla's free kick from the right just evades Sagna coming in at the back post. Spurs started quite well but in the last half an hour or so Arsenal have been far better.

SHOT! Soldado threatens for the first time by smacking Walker's cutback a yard or so wide.

Clattenburg brings an entertaining first half to a close. Spurs got off to a good start and could have gone in front but since the 10-minute mark it's been mainly Arsenal on top. Santi Cazorla's goal sees them one ahead.

Looks like Per Mertesacker is going to come on for the start of the second half. Vermaelen or Koscielny injured?

Looking at the stats, Arsenal had 55% of the ball and also more shots with nine to Spurs' six.

ARSENAL SUB: Vermaelen is the one taken off. Likely to be an injury as he and Koscielny were dealing with the Spurs attack well.

KICKOFF! The second half is back underway and Spurs have an early corner.

Eriksen's first delivery is headed out for another corner that Soldado volleys audaciously at the back post, finding Row Z with his shot.

You'd expect a man of Cazorla's talent to be able to pick out Walcott in acres of space but he can only find Chiriches. Had he found the Englishman then it probably would have been 2-0.

Soldado with a similar effort to his one at the end of the first half as he pulls his shot from the right of the area wide of the far post.

Walcott appears to pull up with a muscular injury but replays actually show that Chiriches accidentally caught him on the ankle. A nasty knock but he's up and running again now.

CHANCE! First real opportunity for today's antagonist Adebayor as he brings down Lennon's cross but then slips as he was about to shoot. Cue massive jeers from the Gooners.

SIDE-NETTING! Walcott is slipped in and he rounds Lloris but can't get the ball the right side of the post from the tightest of angles.

Oh dear dear Danny Rose! He is dispossessed by Rosicky who then has the whole Spurs half to run into. Walker's pace sees him come back to challenge the Czech but he can't make a difference as the ball is lifted cheekily over Lloris.

SPURS SUB: Sherwood makes a change straight away, bringing on Nacer Chadli for the ineffective Soldado. Looks like Eriksen will go and play behind Adebayor now.

Monreal feels that he should have a penalty as Walker barges into him in the area. Clattenburg doesn't agree and I'm on his side too.

SHOT! Fabianski is properly tested for the first time in the second half as Dembele tries his luck from 25 yards. It's well struck by the Belgian but too close to the Pole, who holds well.

Almost a sublime pass from Wilshere but it's just too strong for Walcott to reach.

And now Monreal challenges Walker at the other end and that does look like a clear foul. Initial contact might have been outside the area but Clattenburg doesn't give anything.

ARSENAL SUB: Wenger makes his second change of the night by taking off Wilshere for Mathieu Flamini as chants of "Tim Sherwood's a gooner" ring around the Emirates.

ARSENAL SUB: Another change from Wenger as Ozil makes his return from a brief injury by replacing Arteta.

JUST WIDE! Spurs haven't learned from their mistakes as Chiriches gifts Gnabry the ball. The German squares for Walcott who curls it just wide. He probably should have let the ball run for Flamini who had more space.

This looks grim for Walcott as he stays down injured after appearing to jar his knee when challenging Rose. Wenger has made all three substitutions, remember.

Walcott has to go off and antagonises the Spurs fans as he is stretched off by making a '2-0' hand signal. It looks like that may have caused the Spurs fans to throw coins and bottles in his direction.

Spurs, now a man stronger than the Gunners, have a free kick left of the area that Eriksen tees up for Chadli instead of crossing. Arsenal get out to the Belgian quickly and his shot is blocked.

SAVE! Excellent fingertip save from Lloris denies Ozil and 10-man Arsenal a third goal. FIVE minutes of time added on by the fourth official.

Bentaleb, who has been quite quiet on his debut, is angry after committing a foul and stamps on the ground very close to Monreal's head. Easy tiger.

A fairly comfortable win for Arsenal as they knock out arch rivals Tottenham Hotspur to progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup. Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky the scorers.
