Key duo Milan Baros and Tomas Rosicky are both expected to be fit for the Czech Republic's opening game of Euro 2012.

Experienced duo Milan Baros and Tomas Rosicky have handed the Czech Republic a huge boost ahead of their Euro 2012 opener against Russia.

Czech team doctor Petr Krejci told reporters that he is confident the key pair have recovered from injuries to take their place in the Group B match.

Krejci said: "Baros has the green light and Rosicky is fit after a niggle."

Czech captain Rosicky has been struggling in the build-up to this summer's tournament with a calf injury but returned to full training on Monday.

The 31-year-old Arsenal man enjoyed a sparkling end to the domestic season and is expected to be crucial to Czech hopes in Poland and Ukraine.

Veteran striker Baros is also set to to shake of a thigh strain to line up against the Russians.

Russia face the Czech Republic on June 8, the opening day of Euro 2012
