Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that Marseille are more than capable of advancing from Group F in the Champions League.
The two sides meet at the Stade Velodrome on Wednesday night and make up half of the table alongside 2013 finalists Borussia Dortmund and Serie A leaders Napoli.
While many have tipped Les Phoceens as the weakest side in the 'Group of Death', Wenger feels that the French giants pose a real threat to their opponents.
"Marseille have great home support, good physical strength and they are strong up front," Wenger said at a press conference. "They are used to playing big games.
"Marseille are building a good team with young players. It is a smart policy and by playing big matches these players will develop into great talents.
"I think they can be in the top two teams in the group; it is difficult to predict who will go through, though."
The match gets underway at 7.45pm on Wednesday night.
