Both America Mineiro and Fluminense will be bidding to return to winning ways in the Brasileiro when they lock horns on Wednesday night.
America Mineiro will enter the contest off the back of a 1-0 defeat at Sao Paulo, while Fluminense suffered a 2-0 home loss to Atletico Goianiense in their last match.
Match preview
America Mineiro have won four, drawn two and lost five of their 11 league matches this season to collect 14 points, which has left them in ninth spot in the table ahead of the next set of fixtures.
The home side recorded a 2-1 victory over Cuiaba at the start of the month but have since lost their last two fixtures against Ceara and Sao Paulo, conceding three times and failing to score in the process.
Vagner Mancini's side have impressed in front of their own supporters this season, picking up 10 points from five matches, but they have struggled on their travels, collecting only four points from six fixtures.
America Mineiro finished eighth in Serie A last term on their return to the top flight, which went down as a successful campaign, and they will be looking to claim a similar spot this season.
Coelho have only actually faced Fluminense on nine previous occasions, recording just three wins in the process, and they suffered a 2-0 defeat when the pair last locked horns in November 2021.

Fluminense, meanwhile, will enter the match off the back of a 2-0 home defeat to Atletico Goianiense, which made it three losses from their last four league fixtures.
The disappointing run of form has left Fernando Diniz's side in eighth position in the table, boasting 14 points from their first 11 matches, ahead of ninth-placed America Mineiro on goal difference.
Fluminense finished seventh in Brazil's top flight last season, but they claimed fifth in 2019-20, which proved to be their highest position since winning the title in 2012.
Tricolor, who are four-time Serie A champions, have won two, drawn one and lost two of their five away league fixtures this season.
Diniz's team are only three points behind fifth-placed Athletico Paranaense despite their inconsistent form, so a victory here would propel them up the table at this relatively early stage of the campaign.

America Mineiro will be missing Pedrinho, Iago Maidana, Juan Pablo Ramirez, Paulinho Boia and Orlando Berrio for Wednesday evening's contest with Fluminense.
The home side did not suffer any fresh fitness concerns in their loss to Sao Paulo last time out, but head coach Mancini is expected to make changes, with Wellington Paulista set to feature in the final third of the field.
Paulista could come in for Luo Guofu, while there might also be an alteration down the right, with Henrique Almeida potentially coming into the side for Everaldo Junior.
As for Fluminense, Mario Pineida, Fred and Luan Freitas remain on the sidelines through injury, while David Braz will be missing through suspension.
Braz was sent off against Atletico GO, meaning that there could be a spot in the middle of the defence for Luccas Claro, while Willian had to be substituted in the first half of the team's last game, so he could also miss out.
Nathan is likely to start if Willian is unavailable for selection, but German Cano will again lead the line, with the 34-year-old already scoring six league goals this term.
America Mineiro possible starting lineup:
Jailson; Patric, Conti, Ferreira, Marlon; Almeida, Juninho, Kal, Ale, Azevedo; Paulista
Fluminense possible starting lineup:
Fabio; Xavier, Manoel, Claro, Silva; Wellington, Andre; Henrique, Arias, Nathan; Cano
We say: America Mineiro 1-1 Fluminense
Fluminense have a striker in form in the shape of Cano, but the visitors have lost three of their last four matches, so it is difficult to back them with any real confidence here. America Mineiro have lost their last two, but we believe that the two teams will play out a low-scoring draw on Wednesday night.
