Agent: 'Frank de Boer staying at Ajax'

The agent of Ajax manager Frank de Boer denies reports linking the Dutchman with Newcastle United.

The agent of Ajax manager Frank de Boer has insisted that the Dutchman will not leave his current role this season.

De Boer has been strongly linked with the Newcastle United job as Magpies boss Alan Pardew moves closer to Crystal Palace.

However, De Boer's agent has denied suggestions that the Ajax boss could leave Amsterdam this season.

"No contact to myself, or Ajax, from another club at this stage. Frank will never leave Ajax this season," his agent told Sky Sports News.

De Boer has also been linked with the Liverpool job this season.
