Sunday's Eredivisie predictions including Vitesse vs. Ajax

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's Eredivisie fixtures, including Vitesse vs. Ajax.

Utrecht vs. PSV (Sunday, 1.30pm)

PSV Eindhoven will seek to confirm their status as runners-up when they visit the Stadion Galgenwaard to face FC Utrecht in their season Finale on Sunday.

The home team also need a victory this weekend in order to hold off the threat of teams around them and secure fifth place in the Eredivisie table.

We say: FC Utrecht 1-2 PSV Eindhoven

The game promises to be a fascinating encounter with two of Dutch football's top sides going head-to-head. PSV Eindhoven are the favourites for this one, and we expect them to justify that tag by claiming a narrow win.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

FC Twente vs. ADO Den Haag (Sunday, 1.30pm)

After the confirmation of their exit from the Eredivisie last time out, ADO Den Haag travel to the Grolsch Veste Stadium on Sunday to face off against FC Twente.

On the other hand, Twente are without a league victory since February, and they will be looking to end the campaign on a high.

We say: FC Twente 2-2 ADO Den Haag

The sides have nothing to play for in this one, which could pave the way for a highly entertaining contest. We are backing a share of the spoils with goals at both ends.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

AZ vs. Heracles (Sunday, 1.30pm)

With a second-place finish in the Eredivisie still on the cards, AZ Alkmaar play host to Heracles at the AFAS Stadion on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the away side are still in the hunt for a European place, and will aim to capitalise on any slip ups with a victory here.

We say: AZ Alkmaar 3-1 Heracles

Both sides have all to play for in this one with their respective targets still within touching distance. The onus is more on the home team to show their superiority, and we are tipping them to secure all three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Feyenoord vs. RKC Waalwijk (Sunday, 1.30pm)

Looking to end a barren run of four league games without a victory, Feyenoord welcome RKC Waalwijk to De Kuip on Sunday.

RKC are on the verge of retaining their top-flight status, but they need at least a point from this one in order to lay any fears to rest.

We say: Feyenoord 2-0 RKC Waalwijk

Feyenoord's record in the fixture makes it hard to envisage any other outcome than a home win. We are tipping the hosts to secure all three points come the full-time whistle.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

VVV-Venlo vs. Emmen (Sunday, 1.30pm)

World Cup general image football

VVV-Venlo host Emmen in the last game of the Eredivisie season on Sunday at the De Koel.

The home side are now confirmed as relegated, while their visitors, who currently sit one place above their opponents, occupy the playoff relegation spot but are only one point behind safety.

We say: VVV-Venlo 1-3 Emmen

Emmen will come into this game with great confidence following Thursday's victory and will look to capitalise on an already-relegated VVV-Venlo side.

However, Emmen must improve their away form as they have only won twice in their last 29 away games. Both teams struggle to keep clean sheets and hence there is bound to be goals on Sunday.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Vitesse vs. Ajax (Sunday, 1.30pm)

Eredivisie champions Ajax and fourth-placed Vitesse meet on Sunday at the GelreDome in a repeat of this season's KNVB-Beker final.

This is the third meeting between the sides this season, with Ajax winning each of the previous two by a 2-1 scoreline.

We say: Vitesse 1-3 Ajax

Since securing the league title, Ajax have shown no signs of taking their foot off the gas. We are backing them to claim all three points in this one and sign off the season in grand style.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Heerenveen vs. Sparta (Sunday, 1.30pm)

Sparta Rotterdam will need an away win against Heerenveen in the final game of the Eredivisie league season to secure a UEFA Conference League playoff.

Five points splits the two sides with the hosts currently in 11th position, while this Sunday's visitors are eighth in Eredivisie.

We say: Heerenveen 1-1 Sparta Rotterdam

Heerenveen have the far superior head-to-head record out of the two sides, going unbeaten in their last five meetings and winning their last six home matches against Sparta Rotterdam in all competitions.

However, the visitors will be desperate to put an end to this poor record as they aim to finish in the playoff positions. This will make it an entertaining affair with the teams cancelling each other out in a 1-1 draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Willem II vs. Sittard (Sunday, 1.30pm)

World Cup general image football

Willem II host Fortuna Sittard in a must-win last game of the Eredivisie season on Sunday as they aim to avoid finishing in the bottom three.

The home side are currently one point above Emmen in the relegation playoff position, while the away side have an extremely small chance of finishing in a playoff position for the UEFA Conference League.

We say: Willem II 2-2 Fortuna Sittard

There is bound to be goals on Sunday with the fixture having over two goals scored in six of the last seven meetings between the sides, with the hosts scoring at least two goals in five of their last six matches against Fortuna Sittard.

Willem II will be desperate for a win to avoid the relegation playoff but their opponents will also want to finish the game strongly, shaping up for an entertaining affair.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

PEC Zwolle vs. Groningen (Sunday, 1.30pm)

World Cup general image football

Groningen have the chance to break into the top six of the Eredivisie table on the final day of the domestic campaign on Sunday, as they travel to PEC Zwolle needing a win and a defeat for sixth-placed FC Utrecht.

Despite a run of three consecutive defeats, the hosts are safe from the threat of relegation and will not move from 13th spot unless there is a drastic swing in goal difference on the final day.

We say: PEC Zwolle 0-3 Groningen

Given the poor form of the hosts and the comparable need for a victory, we see the visitors picking up a dominant victory on Sunday, as they aim to leapfrog Utrecht on the final day with a win.

Zwolle have struggled with little to play for, and we expect them to fall to a convincing defeat on the final day, although their eventual 13th-placed finish is definitely acceptable for the Blauwvingers.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
