AC Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida has revealed that the Italian club are interested in Marseille defender Nicolas N'Koulou.
However, Braida though says that the Rossoneri will not make an approach to sign the 22-year-old in January.
"He is a player who we have been monitoring since he was with Monaco," he told La Provence.
"At the minute, we already have six players in his role and, therefore, he is not at the top of our list. It is also not that easy to sign players because of asking prices.
"It would be difficult to sign him during the January transfer window, but we will continue to watch him to understand whether he could do a good job for us in the future."
N'Koulou joined Marseille from Monaco in 2011.
