AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has attempted to play down the importance of tomorrow's Champions League qualifier against PSV Eindhoven.
Massimiliano Allegri's men left for Eindhoven earlier today ahead of the first leg of their qualifying tie, with a place in the Champions League group stages at stake.
"I remember when we went to PSV and signed Ruud Gullit," Football Italia quotes Galliani as saying. "They are a noble side who have had players such as Ronaldo and Romario in their ranks.
"It is one of the most important playoff games, but let us not overload it. These games are vital every year, but it is not the most important in our history.
"We played well on our American tour. I think the side is in good shape, but I don't want to make any predictions."
Galliani also insisted that there is no further news on the transfer front for Milan fans, denying reports that the club had been offered Paris Saint-Germain defender Mamadou Sakho.
