Team News: Neil Lennon names strong Celtic lineup

Celtic manager Neil Lennon names a strong starting lineup for his side's Scottish Premier League fixture with Aberdeen.

Aberdeen host Celtic at Pittodrie where a win will see them replace their opponents at the top of the Scottish Premier League table.

Gavin Rae and Ryan Fraser have shaken off minor injuries to take their place in the starting lineup.

Celtic have as many as six players sidelined through injury, but Neil Lennon has opted to name a strong lineup despite the club's upcoming Champions League tie against Benfica.

Joe Ledley and Scott Brown miss out but Lennon has chosen to start striker Tony Watt after the 18-year-old signed a new contract with the club earlier in the week.

Aberdeen: Langfield; Anderson, Rae, Considine, Clark; McGinn, Hayes, Osbourne, Fraser; Magennis, Reynolds
Subs: Brown, Robertson, Vernon, Fallon, Shaughnessy, Masson, Smith

Celtic: Forster; Lustig, Ambrose, Wilson, Matthews; Commons, Kayal, Wanyama, Mulgrew; Samaras, Watt
Subs: Zaluska, McCourt, McGeouch, Lassad Atajic, Ibrahim, Chalmers
