Kendall Wright caught two touchdown passes to give the Tennessee Titans a commanding 28-10 lead over the Cleveland Browns at half time in the NFL this evening.
Cleveland's opening drive resulted in nothing, allowing the Titans offense to come onto the field and open the scoring when Jake Locker picked out Wright for a touchdown.
Tennessee started the second quarter in the red zone, and managed to add another touchdown when the quarterback ran the ball in from 11 yards out, but he appeared to injure himself in the process.
After undergoing concussion tests, Locker was cleared to return to the game, but had to be pulled out of the game again before half time after injuring his arm, bringing Charlie Whitehurst onto the field.
The backup quarterback had an immediate impact though, tossing the ball to Wright on his first play of the game to give the Titans their third touchdown of the day, before a 75-yard effort to Justin Hunter extended their advantage further.
Brian Hoyer gave the Browns some hope late in the half though, finding Jim Dray in space in the end zone to leave Cleveland trailing by 18.
