Half-Time Report: Denver Broncos ahead despite Minnesota Vikings fightback

The Denver Broncos hold a three-point lead over the Minnesota Vikings at half time in their NFL game at the Mile High Stadium.

The Denver Broncos have headed into half time with a 13-10 lead over the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL, despite holding a 13-point advantage shortly before the break.

Peyton Manning tried to pick out CJ Anderson with a deep pass, but the Broncos were unable to get the first down, leaving Brandon McManus to kick a short field goal.

Ronnie Hillman came into the game in the second quarter, sprinting down the sideline for a 72-yard touchdown with his first carry of the night.

With Teddy Bridgewater struggling to get the Vikings offense going, Manning continued to move the ball downfield for Denver, completing a string of short passes to Demaryius Thomas, but it was left to McManus to add the points from another field goal.

The Broncos defense continued to frustrate the visiting side, as Bridgewater struggled to get his passes away, but a quarterback sneak kept the ball in Minnesota's hands as the end of the second quarter approached.

Manning threw an interception inside the final minute though, gifting Minnesota another opportunity, which Mike Wallace took when he raced away from Aqib Talib to haul the catch in unmarked, leaving the NFC North side just a field goal down.
