Toulon score seven tries to maintain their unbeaten record in this season's Heineken Cup.

Toulon have beaten Cardiff Blues in the Heineken Cup, despite a strong finish from the Welsh side.

A strong start by Leigh Halfpenny saw the Blues take an 8-0 lead, the winger kicking a penalty and scoring a try for the visitors.

Toulon fought back, scoring three tries in 15 minutes to take a comfortable lead at half time.

The French side continued their dominant display after the break, adding three more quick-fire tries before substituting a number of their starters.

Alex Cuthbert, Dafydd Hewitt and Halfpenny added consolation tries for Cardiff late in the game, but the Welsh side were unable to overturn Toulon's lead.

The win means Toulon are unbeaten in the tournament this season and remain top of pool six, while Cardiff Blues are without a win.
