Warrington Wolves agree to sign Wigan Warriors forward Jack Hughes

Warrington Wolves agree to sign Wigan Warriors forward Jack Hughes at the end of the season.

Warrington Wolves have agreed to sign Wigan Warriors forward Jack Hughes on a two-year contract at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old is currently on loan at Huddersfield Giants.

Wigan academy product Hughes won the Super League and Challenge Cup with the club in 2012.

"He's a terrific young British player and I have a lot of time for Jack," Wolves head coach Tony Smith is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "He is a potential England representative in the near future and we are hoping to help him on that route to achieve this."

Warrington are back in Super League action on Thursday when they travel to Castleford Tigers in the Super 8s.
