French driver Romain Grosjean has been assured that he is part of Lotus's "long-term" future by the team's owner.
Recent reports had suggested that the 26-year-old could be moved on at the end of the upcoming campaign.
However, Gerard Lopez has insisted that he would like Grosjean to remain with his Oxfordshire-based outfit for a number of years.
"Romain's a different guy," said Lopez. "He knows what he has to do. He doesn't have that pressure, stress as we have essentially told him he's a long-term future with us."
Grosjean joined Lotus in 2011 following a stint in GP2.
