Roger Johnson close to Wolverhampton Wanderers exit?

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Roger Johnson is reportedly close to moving to Sheffield Wednesday on a three-month loan deal.

Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly close to completing a three-month loan deal for Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Roger Johnson.

Johnson has been out of favour at Molineux since the arrival of Kenny Jackett, who quickly made it known that the 30-year-old was not part of his plans.

According to the Express & Star, Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones is keen to sign Johnson, who played under him during their spell at Cardiff City.

The former Birmingham City defender has made 57 appearances for Wolves during his two years at the club.
