Christophe Berra admits that Wolves "haven't been good enough" this season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Christophe Berra has said that he and his teammates "haven't been good enough" this season.

The Midlands outfit, who are six points adrift at the bottom of the Premier League, make the trip to Sunderland this afternoon. However, the Scot admits that his side must give maximum effort in order for the team to take something from the game.

"We're going to have to work our socks off to get something out of it," he said.

"The Premier League is not a nice place to be for us at the moment. It's one of the hardest leagues in the world, and so far this season we haven't been good enough.

"We're professionals and we've got pride. We know we're a good team and we've got to keep thinking that."

Wolves have secured just one win in all competitions in over four months.
