West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has warned off any potential suitors for Andy Carroll by insisting that the striker is not for sale.
Earlier this week a report emerged claiming that while the club are not actively trying to sell Carroll, they would consider offers of almost £18m.
However, Bilic has claimed that he wants Carroll, who has scored in his last two appearances, to stay put.
"We never said we were willing to sell Andy, not me, not the chairman," Bilic said in Thursday's press conference. "He's a very popular player.
"We do not want to sell him. I think he likes it here, he's very important in the dressing room. I know he is happy here. Two goals in two games, the rumours start. The only way to stop the rumours is to play badly."
Carroll joined the Hammers on a permanent deal from Liverpool in 2013.
