Slaven Bilic admits to feeling "pressure" at West Ham United

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic says that he is feeling pressure in his role due to the Hammers' poor form and position in the Premier League table.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has admitted that he is feeling pressure due to his side's poor form and position in the Premier League table.

The Hammers remain stuck in the relegation zone after seven games with four points, one of which was claimed on Saturday against Middlesbrough in a 1-1 draw at the London Stadium.

Bilic told BBC Sport: "We stopped that losing streak with a point but we were looking for three considering we were playing at home against a side in the bottom half.

"I feel pressure because I am not happy with our position in the table and because we lost four matches on the trot. It is below my standards.

"But I believe in my team and I'm a hard worker. Although we didn't win today we showed that the team is alive. We are together, we have to show it more often."

Up next for the East London side is a trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday, October 15.
