Sergio Floccari nodded the visitors in front from an inch-perfect Saphir Taider cross in the 20th minute.
Just five minutes later, Francesco Acerbi made it 2-0 as Parma struggled to cope with balls thrown into the box.
Taider almost fired home a free kick in first-half stoppage time, but his effort pinged back off the frame of the goal.
The Algerian got the spectacular goal that his performance deserved after the interval as he sent a long-range effort flying into the top corner of the net with the goalkeeper stranded.
Antonio Cassano grabbed a goal back for the hosts late on, but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation.
