How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Nantes

Sports Mole looks at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up in Wednesday's Coupe de France semi-final with Nantes.

Paris Saint-Germain will welcome Nantes to the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France.

There will be no Coupe de la Ligue or Champions League title for PSG this term, but Thomas Tuchel's side are 20 points clear at the top of Ligue 1 as they close in on another crown.

The Coupe de France has taken on added importance for the Paris giants this season and they will be desperate to overcome Nantes on Wednesday night.

PSG will enter the match off the back of a 1-0 win over Toulouse in the league at the weekend, with Kylian Mbappe grabbing the only goal of the contest in the 74th minute.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at how PSG could line up this week.

POSS PSG XI vs. NAN

Out: Neymar (foot), Edinson Cavani (hip), Julian Draxler (hamstring)
Doubtful: Angel di Maria (hamstring), Thomas Meunier (knee), Dani Alves (knee)

Marco Verratti and Thiago Silva both started on the bench against Toulouse at the weekend, but the pair are expected to return to the starting XI for this match.

Tuchel still has a host of injury concerns, however, with Neymar, Edinson Cavani and Julian Draxler all ruled out once again.

Angel di Maria, Thomas Meunier and Dani Alves also missed the clash with Toulouse, and it does not appear that any of the six injured players will return against Nantes.

As a result, the likes of Colin Dagba and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting could again earn starts, with Leandro Paredes also keeping his spot in the middle of the park.

Mbappe will again lead the PSG line as he goes in search of his 33rd goal of the 2018-19 campaign.
