Portsmouth's James Dunne agrees Dagenham & Redbridge extension

Portsmouth midfielder James Dunne extends his loan stint with League Two strugglers Dagenham & Redbridge until early January.

Dagenham & Redbridge have secured the loan services of James Dunne until January 2.

The midfielder arrived at Victoria Road from Portsmouth last month on an initial four-week deal.

However, having made six appearances and scored one goal since then, the 26-year-old has agreed to remain with the League Two strugglers until early 2016.

Dunne is expected to feature for the bottom-placed Daggers when they take on league leaders Plymouth Argyle on Saturday afternoon.
