Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy has revealed that he will spend the next three months on the sidelines.
The England international has suffered a thigh problem that requires surgery to correct.
"Just to update everyone on my injury, unfortunately I have torn my thigh will be having surgery on saturday and out for up to 3 months," the 26-year-old wrote on Twitter.
Ruddy's injury is expected to give an opportunity to Mark Bunn, who has spent the majority of the season on the bench.
Earlier today manager Chris Hughton insisted that he would have no problem with starting Bunn.
