Norwich City striker Gary Hooper has avoided a long-term injury, manager Chris Hughton has said.
The Englishman was stretchered off during Saturday's pre-season friendly against Panathinaikos, but scans today have come back all-clear.
"Both the X-ray and the scan are fine and confirm there is no fracture or any other problem which might indicate a long-term injury," Hughton told the club website.
"There is still some bruising Gary suffered from the knock and he will continue to be monitored and assessed over the days ahead."
It is not yet known whether Hooper will recover in time to feature in the Canaries' season opener against Everton on Saturday.
