Debrecen owner Gabor Szima confirms that Jozsef Varga will join Middlesbrough on loan on Tuesday if the midfielder passes his medical.

Debrecen owner Gabor Szima has revealed that Jozsef Varga will join Middlesbrough on loan next week if the midfielder passes his medical.

The 25-year-old, who has long been linked with a move to England, has reportedly attracted the interest of a number of clubs in recent weeks.

"Jozsef Varga will travel for a medical to Middlesbrough on Sunday and he is expected to sign a one-year loan contract next Tuesday," Szima told Haon.hu.

Varga finished last season on loan at Greuther Furth.
