Manchester United will reportedly make a last-ditch attempt to convince teenage attacker Angel Gomes to sign a new long-term contract with the 20-time English champions.
The 19-year-old will see his current deal at Old Trafford expire at the end of the season, and the likes of Barcelona, Chelsea and Leicester City have been credited with an interest in the London-born youngster.
Gomes has made six first-team appearances for the Red Devils this season, although he has only been involved once in the Premier League since September 22.
According to The Sun, United are still hopeful of keeping Gomes at the club and are preparing to offer him a new £30,000-a-week deal, which is three times the amount he currently collects in wages.
The report also claims that head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has assured the teenager that he will be given the opportunity to become a first-team regular if he pens fresh terms.
The England Under-20 international has made 10 first-team appearances for United in total.
