Manchester United are reportedly preparing to accelerate their pursuit of Sofyan Amrabat amid fears that they could miss out on the Fiorentina midfielder's signature.
The Morocco international was heavily linked with a move away from his Italian side in January off the back of playing a leading role in his country reaching the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup.
Barcelona are said to have failed with a mid-season move for the 26-year-old, who has entered the final year of his contract with Fiorentina.
The Catalan outfit are still thought to be keeping a close eye on his situation, while Liverpool have also recently been credited with an interest in the central midfielder.
Man United have allegedly already failed with an opening offer for Amrabat, with Fiorentina dismissing the undisclosed bid as unacceptable.

The Purples are believed to be looking for a £25m fee for the midfielder, who has represented his current side on 107 occasions in all competitions, scoring once and providing one assist.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Man United are aware of the growing interest in Amrabat's services and are currently fearful of missing out on his signature.
As a result, the report claims that the 20-time English champions are 'ready to attack', with the club potentially pushing for a transfer 'within a few days'.
Amrabat was in strong form for Fiorentina during the 2022-23 campaign, featuring on 49 occasions in all competitions, helping his side to reach the final of the Europa Conference League and Coppa Italia.

The Red Devils are currently working on a deal for Atalanta BC forward Rasmus Hojlund, with the club said to be confident of reaching an agreement with the Italian side over a deal.
Man United head coach Erik ten Hag is also believed to be keen to bring in a defensive midfielder, with either Fred or Scott McTominay likely to leave this summer.
Kobbie Mainoo and Hannibal Mejbri could have first-team roles next season, but Man United are short of a genuine replacement for Casemiro in the holding midfield role.
The Premier League outfit have already played two friendlies this summer, beating Leeds United and Lyon, and they are currently preparing for the first match of their pre-season tour, which will be against domestic rivals Arsenal in New Jersey on Saturday night.
