Juventus chief Fabio Paratici confirms that Cristiano Ronaldo will remain in Turin amid links with former clubs Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Juventus chief Fabio Paratici has affirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will remain in Turin for the 2021-22 campaign.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has been tipped to complete a sensational return to either Manchester United or Real Madrid following Juve's humiliating exit from the Champions League at the hands of Porto.

Paratici had previously admitted that no talks were scheduled over a new deal for Ronaldo - adding fuel to the fire over a move away this summer - but the Juventus chief football officer has insisted that the 36-year-old will continue to ply his trade at the Allianz Stadium.

Speaking to Sky Italia, Paratici said: "We've decided to keep Cristiano Ronaldo. He's the best player in the world and he'll stay with us."

However, Paratici did not reveal whether Juventus intend to keep him on the books beyond 2022 or not, so there is every chance that next season could be Ronaldo's final year with the Old Lady.

The Portugal international has struck 23 goals in 24 Serie A matches for Andrea Pirlo's side this term, but he was unable to prevent the champions from falling to a 1-0 defeat to Benevento on Sunday afternoon.
