Defender John Stones has said that enjoyment has played a big part in Manchester City's excellent start to the season.
City have come through their first 17 games with 15 wins and just two draws, form which has left the club eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table and having already qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Pep Guardiola's side have had to cope with a hectic schedule since the start of September, but Stones has revealed that he and his teammates relish every opportunity to play for the Spanish head coach.
The 23-year-old is quoted by the Manchester Evening News as saying: "It's 100% about enjoyment as well. It's a joy to play in this team, and when you are winning and the boys are playing as they are, it's hard to describe.
"We couldn't go and play a game now if one was scheduled but you want to keep the winning run going and keep improving on what you have done in the game – and also look at what we can do better. That's what makes a good team.
"It's a compliment to ourselves that we have set that standard and want to keep at it."
City are next in action when they travel to Leicester City on Saturday, November 18.
