Divock Origi and Loris Karius are among seven players to leave Liverpool at the end of their contracts, the club confirms.

Liverpool have confirmed the departures of seven players at the end of their contracts, including Belgian striker Divock Origi.

The former Lille man has notched up a plethora of crucial goals for the Reds since arriving in the summer of 2014, including his side's second in the 2018-19 Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur.

Origi consistently struggled for starts over the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, though, and Jurgen Klopp confirmed the striker's departure before the end of the season.

Origi is due to become a free agent at the end of the month, and Liverpool have now officially announced that the 27-year-old will depart after 175 games and 41 goals for the Reds.

The Belgium international, who is expected to complete a free transfer to AC Milan in the near future, headlines the list of Liverpool players to depart ahead of the 2022-23 season.

Goalkeeper Loris Karius is also confirmed to be leaving the club as a free agent after being frozen out of the side, with his last appearance coming in the error-strewn 2017-18 Champions League final.

The German shot-stopper spent time out on loan with Besiktas and Union Berlin after losing his place in Jurgen Klopp's side and leaves having kept 22 clean sheets in 49 games for the Reds.

Twenty-four-year old attacker Sheyi Ojo is also among those to leave the club, ending an 11-year spell at Anfield since his arrival from MK Dons as a 14-year-old in 2011.

Ojo was sent out on loan to Millwall for the 2021-22 campaign following previous loan spells at Fulham, Cardiff City, Reims, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and he registered two assists in 18 Championship appearances.

Ojo leaves Liverpool having made 13 appearances at senior level, providing four assists and scoring once against Exeter City in the 2015-16 FA Cup.

Ben Woodburn is the final senior player to leave upon the expiration of his contract and ends his Liverpool stint after joining the club's youth academy all the way back in 2007.

Woodburn scored one goal in 11 appearances for the Merseyside giants and still holds the honour of being the Reds' youngest-ever goalscorer, netting at 17 years and 45 days old against Leeds United in a 2016-17 EFL Cup tie.

A trio of youth players are also moving onto pastures new, including 21-year-old midfielder Elijah Dixon-Bonner, who made a total of three appearances for Liverpool in cup competitions.

Attacker Luis Longstaff leaves after playing one game for the club in the 2019-20 EFL Cup, while he became a regular for Queen's Park during a loan spell last season.

Finally, 19-year-old right-back Sean Wilson's exit has been confirmed, with the teenager only playing four games for the club's Under-23s and failing to make his senior debut.
