Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in signing wantaway Liverpool starlet Bobby Duncan, should the Reds decide the cancel the 18-year-old's contract.

Borussia Dortmund are closely monitoring the situation of wantaway Liverpool youngster Bobby Duncan, according to a report.

The 18-year-old has been the centre of a public bullying storm after his agent Saif Rubie accused the Reds of 'mentally bullying' his client after a loan move to Fiorentina was blocked.

According to the Daily Mirror, German giants Dortmund are waiting to pounce and sign the highly-rated 18-year-old if his Liverpool contract is cancelled.

Rubie accused the Liverpool hierarchy of having shown zero consideration for the player's mental and emotional well-being.

"Bobby has not left his room for four days because of this and will never go back to Liverpool again and my only concern now is his mental health and well being," he said in a statement.

"The Liverpool hierarchy have shown zero consideration to that and have even gone as far as saying in writing that they will punish him and make him stay at the club until January and beyond to teach him a lesson.

"This is not really dignified behaviour from a club with the rich history of Liverpool...It's a sad state of affairs that a club such as a Liverpool can be allowed to get away with mentally bullying and destroying the life of a young man such as Bobby."

Jurgen Klopp's side did not let the allegations serve as a distraction on Saturday, beating Burnley 3-0 at Turf Moor.
