Report: Liverpool midfielder Emre Can to undergo medical at Juventus

Departing Liverpool midfielder and Germany international Emre Can will undergo a medical at Juventus this week, according to a report.

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can will undergo a medical at Juventus this week, according to a report.

The Reds confirmed earlier in June that the Germany international would be departing Anfield once his contract expires on June 30.

Can has been linked with a move to the Serie A champions for a number of months, and multiple reports have suggested that personal terms have already been agreed with the Turin club.

According to Football Italia, the 24-year-old - who was not included in Joachim Low's squad for the 2018 World Cup - will finally complete his transfer to Juve by the weekend.

The report claims that Can has already undergone the first part of the medical, but will fly in on Thursday evening and wrap up proceedings at the J-Medical facility on Friday morning.

Can has been out of action since late March with a back injury.
