Saturday's Premier League predictions including Brighton vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Premier League matches, including Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Liverpool.

Liverpool have the chance to move out on their own at the top of the Premier League table when they take on Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium on Saturday lunchtime.

The champions currently sit level at the summit with Tottenham Hotspur, but an inferior goal difference leaves them in second place heading into their trip to a Brighton side coming off the back of a much-needed victory.

We say: Brighton & Hove Albion 1-2 Liverpool

Despite their convincing win over Leicester last weekend, Liverpool have a few questions to answer here regarding their away form and whether the midweek defeat to Atalanta was just a blip or the first sign of their injury crisis taking its toll.

Brighton have performed far better this season than their league position and points tally suggests, but a first league win or draw against Liverpool since the early 1980s may be just too much to expect from them this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Man City vs. Burnley (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Manchester City will be hoping to carry their European form into domestic duties when they host Burnley at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Pep Guardiola's side booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League in midweek but find themselves languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League table as they welcome a Burnley team which picked up their first win of the season last time out.

We say: Manchester City 2-0 Burnley

Man City are far from the fluent and free-scoring team which always seems to put Burnley to the sword right now, but it is also difficult to see anything other than a home win in this match.

Burnley should be boosted by their victory on Monday night, but considering their record both at the Etihad and against Man City in general, this is about as difficult a match as they could have to follow that up.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Everton vs. Leeds (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Leeds United take on Everton in the Premier League on Saturday evening seeking a rare victory at Goodison Park.

The Whites are winless in their last 13 top-flight trips to Everton since 1990 and have failed to score in eight of the last 10 such encounters.

Everton enter this contest sixth in the table after returning to winning ways last time out, while Leeds are without a win in three and are five points worse off than the Toffees.

We say: Everton 3-1 Leeds United

Everton appear to have recovered from a recent blip and will now be looking to build some momentum heading into the final month of the year.

Only two sides in the division have conceded more goals than Leeds this term, even accounting for their clean sheet against Arsenal, and we can see Everton capitalising on that.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.

West Brom vs. Sheff Utd (Saturday, 8.00pm)

West Bromwich Albion welcome Sheffield United to The Hawthorns on Saturday night in a battle between the Premier League's bottom two.

The winless sides have collected just four points from a possible 54 between them and are both in desperate need of a victory to kickstart their campaign.

United are the side propping up the division with a solitary point to their name, with Albion only marginally better off in 19th.

We say: West Bromwich Albion 1-1 Sheffield United

This really is a massive match in what is the first ever Premier League encounter between these sides, making it the 885th different fixture to be played in the competition.

Neither team can buy a win at the moment and, while the stats offer some hope to both managers, we are backing this one to finish in a score draw - a result that will suit neither.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.
