Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has insisted that he and his teammates will try to keep Harry Kane quiet when they go head to head with Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night at Anfield.
This season, the England Under-21 international has scored 22 goals, two of which came in Saturday's 2-1 victory over North London rivals Arsenal at White Hart Lane.
While Skrtel is wary of the striker's threat, the centre-back believes that Tottenham as a whole are dangerous due to their positive run of form.
"He is doing well, scoring goals and we have to look after him," ESPN quotes Skrtel as saying. "But it is not only him, Tottenham are doing well as a team.
"They are playing much better than they played before so we have to be ready for them. We are just looking at ourselves and to play our game and try to get three points."
Liverpool are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League fixtures, while Spurs have suffered just one defeat in 10.
