Jurgen Klopp once again lavishes praise on Mohamed Salah following his strike against West Ham United - goal number 31 of a memorable campaign for the Egyptian forward.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has hailed the desire shown by Mohamed Salah to continue his fine goalscoring run in the 4-1 victory against West Ham United.

The Egyptian forward made it 31 goals in all competitions for the Reds in his maiden campaign at the club by netting the second of his side's four goals on Saturday.

Salah swept the ball past West Ham keeper Adrian following some good work from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the edge of the box, taking him level with the number of goals Luis Suarez scored in the 2013-14 season.

Asked about his summer signing's form this season, Klopp told reporters at his post-match presser: "In football it's all about doing the right thing in the right moment. And I like Mo's desire for goals, you could see that. Flexibility, being fluent, depends on all the players around. You cannot just have one player flexible. That's how it is.

"If you see how we change positions, how Roberto [Firmino] immediately defends each moment for Mo. Sadio [Mane] does the same. It's really important. If you didn't do that - because you cannot score from every situation - you can cause yourself problems. Yes he is doing well, he scored from not the biggest chance we had in the game. It was a nice goal.

"Sadio could have scored one or two times more, Roberto deserved a goal, Emre the opener though he had problems with the wind in the beginning and then dealt with it much better - around the goal we conceded he could have played a pass rather than dribble with the ball. And Mo is obviously a boy who is full of greed to score goals, that's what you need in front of goal."

Twenty-three of Salah's goals have come in the Premier League, placing him joint-top of the scoring charts.
