Juventus and Inter Milan are reportedly both still open to the idea of a swap deal which would take Mauro Icardi to Turin and send Paulo Dybala to San Siro.

Juventus are still interested in a swap deal which would take Paulo Dybala to Inter Milan and bring Mauro Icardi in the opposite direction, according to a report.

Both Argentine forwards have been heavily linked with exits from their respective clubs this summer and could still leave before the European transfer deadline on September 2.

Dybala has turned down a number of chances to leave Juve, most notably amid interest from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur towards the end of the English window, and his preference is still to stay with the Italian champions.

Icardi is also reluctant to leave Inter unless the right move comes along, although he would be open to joining Juventus after being told that he has no future at San Siro following Romelu Lukaku's arrival.

Corriere dello Sport reports that the two clubs could still come to an agreement over a straight swap for the duo, although any such deal would be complicated and not take place until the closing stages of the transfer window.

The new Serie A season gets underway next weekend, with Juve facing Parma and Inter hosting Lecce.
