Team News: Ipswich Town recall defender Christophe Berra for Sheffield Wednesday clash

Christophe Berra earns an Ipswich Town recall for their home game with Sheffield Wednesday.

Ipswich Town have recalled centre-back Christophe Berra for their home game with Sheffield Wednesday.

The defender missed last week's draw with Brentford due to a red card he picked up at the end of last season, but he makes his return alongside Tommy Smith this afternoon.

Coach Mick McCarthy has also picked experienced midfielder Jonathan Douglas to start in place of Kevin Bru.

Wednesday have also made a couple of changes as captain Glen Loovens returns at the heart of defence, while Lucas Joao also starts.

Ipswich Town: Bialkowski; Chambers, Berra, Smith, Knudesn; Skuse, Douglas, Fraser, Maitland-Niles; Sears, Murphy

Sheffield Wednesday: Westwood; Hunt, Lees, Loovens, Helan; Matias, Lopez, McGugan, Hutchinson, Wallace; Lucas
