Preview: Palermo vs. Inter Milan

Sports Mole previews this weekend's Serie A match between Palermo and Inter Milan.

Inter Milan will be looking to build upon their promising start to the season when they visit Palermo on Sunday.

After being held to a frustrating goalless draw against Torino, they found their form last weekend to record a 7-0 win over Sassuolo.

They have also begun their Europa League campaign in good form, and earned a 1-0 win over Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk on Thursday evening.

Meanwhile, Palermo have endured a tough opening to the season following their promotion to the top flight.

They were moments away from winning their first match in Serie A, but conceded a stoppage-time equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Sampdoria.

Their poor run continued as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Hellas Verona last weekend, with a late own-goal from Eros Pisano sealing their fate.

Inter Milan are without Mateo Kovacic, who has been suffering from a groin injury, but Rodrigo Palacio is expected to start after returning from his recent layoff last weekend.

The home side will have to make do without Ezequiel Munoz, Giancarlo Gonzalez, Enzo Maresca and Francesco Della Rocca, who all miss out through injury.
