Everton can keep their place in the top four of the Premier League table if they can overcome Southampton at Goodison Park this weekend.

Everton will try to stay in the top four of the Premier League table as they attempt to snatch three points in a home clash against Southampton this weekend.

While David Moyes's side have started off brightly, Nigel Adkins's men have only snatched one victory, which came last weekend in a 4-1 win over Aston Villa, in the league so far.

The Toffees could welcome back striker Nikica Jelavic, who is likely to replace Victor Anichebe as the Croatian prepares to team up with Kevin Mirallas in attack.

Meanwhile, the Saints will be unable to call on Jack Cork, who has confirmed that he will be sidelined for six weeks following a scan on a knee injury.

Liverpool-born forward Rickie Lambert is expected to start up front alongside Gaston Ramirez.
