Eintracht Frankfurt general manager Bruno Hubner has revealed that the club has turned down the opportunity to sign former West Bromwich Albion midfielder Paul Scharner.

The Austrian is currently a free agent after he let his contract expire at the Hawthorns.

"We have been offered the services of that player, but we are not going for it," said Hubner.

Scharner recently admitted that he would like to stay in the Premier League next season.
