Chelsea complete the £25m signing of Tottenham Hotspur target Oscar, according to reports.

Chelsea have beaten Tottenham Hotpsur to the £25m signing of Brazilian starlet Oscar, according to reports.

The 20-year-old was rumoured to be one of Andre Villas-Boas's summer transfer targets before he reportedly declined the chance to move to White Hart Lane.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea have now stolen a march on their London rivals by clinching the signature of the Brazil international, who was also believed to have been attracting interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Oscar, who scored a hat-trick in the FIFA Under-20s World Cup final against Portugal last summer, plays in an attacking role from midfield.

If the reports are confirmed, the Internacional star will become the third arrival at Stamford Bridge so far this summer following the acquisitions of Marko Marin and Eden Hazard.
