Anzhi Makhachkala are reportedly lining up a bid for Chelsea forward Demba Ba.
The Russian side are hoping to tempt the Frenchman with a lucrative contract offer after he rejected moves to West Brom Albion and former club West Ham United, according to The Mirror.
The report claims that Ba is surplus to requirements under Jose Mourinho's new Chelsea regime, which has already seen Marko Marin shipped out on loan to Sevilla and Jon Obi Mikel enter talks with Galatasaray.
Ba scored six goals in 22 appearances for Chelsea last season, as well as 13 for Newcastle United prior to his move to Stamford Bridge.
