Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Manchester City

Sports Mole looks at the latest injury and suspension news for Chelsea ahead of Sunday's EFL Cup final against Manchester City.

Chelsea head into the EFL Cup final with Manchester City on Sunday having got back to winning ways with victory in the Europa League.

Olivier Giroud, Ross Barkley and Callum Hudson-Odoi all got on the scoresheet as Chelsea registered a 3-0 victory over Malmo in the second leg of their last-32 tie on Thursday night.

However, Maurizio Sarri still finds himself under pressure to keep his job at Stamford Bridge, and the Italian is aware that a heavy defeat to City may put him on the brink of the sack.

Here, Sports Mole looks at Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their encounter with the Premier League champions.

Kepa Arrizabalaga sustained a hamstring injury earlier this week and it kept the Spaniard out of the Europa League game on Thursday. The goalkeeper remains a huge doubt for the showdown at Wembley Stadium.

Pedro also played no part against BATE due to stomach cramps. The Spaniard could be in contention for the weekend, but the winger may be restricted to a place on the bench.
