Xavi hails "extraordinary" Luis Suarez

Xavi says that Luis Suarez is a "natural leader" who can make the difference for Barcelona.

Barcelona captain Xavi has praised Luis Suarez and believes that the Uruguayan will make a big difference for the club.

The 27-year-old joined from Liverpool in the summer for £75m, but he is yet to find the net for the La Liga giants.

"I already knew Luis Suarez through Gabri, BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "I think he is an extraordinary person and I think he can make the difference on his own. He dribbles past two or three players on his own, which is difficult to find in today's game.

"He is a natural leader and a very nice person in the dressing room. I think it is an extraordinary purchase and he will definitely make a difference."

Barcelona are currently second in the La Liga table.
