Report: Chelsea want Pedro

A report claims that Chelsea want to sign Barcelona's out-of-favour attacker Pedro this summer.

Chelsea have reportedly emerged as potential suitors for Barcelona winger Pedro, who looks certain to leave the Camp Nou this summer.

The 27-year-old has been with Barcelona since 2004 and up until this season, had been a regular for the Catalan outfit.

The form of Luis Suarez, Neymar and Lionel Messi has seen Pedro spend most of the season on the bench, however, and with his contract expiring next summer, it is understood that a move will occur at the end of the season.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been strongly linked with the Spanish international, but according to Marca, Chelsea are also firmly in the race.

Pedro has an impressive record of just under one goal every three games for Barcelona – scoring 97 times in 310 appearances.
