Arsenal are not prepared to sell unsettled midfielder Lucas Torreira during the January transfer window, according to a report.

Arsenal will reportedly refuse to sell Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira during the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old has been a regular for the Gunners during the current season, making 21 appearances in all competitions, including 14 in the Premier League.

Torreira is believed to be unsettled at the Emirates Stadium, though, and Napoli are among the Italian sides to be credited with an interest ahead of the opening of next month's window.

However, according to the Daily Star, Arsenal have told Torreira's representatives that the South American will not be allowed to leave the club at the start of 2020.

The report adds that the midfielder is not 'agitating for a move', while the London outfit are under no pressure to sell as his contract runs until the summer of 2023.

Torreira has started Arsenal's last three Premier League matches under interim boss Freddie Ljungberg.
