Arsene Wenger: 'We have to remain focused'

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger calls for focus from his side as they look to respond from their Champions League defeat to Monaco in their match against Everton.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has urged his players to regain their focus ahead of their Premier League match against Everton, following their Champions League defeat to Monaco.

The Gunners lost 3-1 to the Ligue 1 outfit at the Emirates Stadium to leave them in a desperate situation going into the second leg of the tie, but Wenger has insisted that his side have to put the defeat out of their minds to concentrate on their league form.

"We are on a good run and on the night everything went against us," he told the club's official website. "Were we responsible for it?

"Certainly for a part of it but I believe overall the good run has to be dominant and we have come back in a great position in the league and we want to stabilise that position.

"We know that our home form in the league will be very important to decide that. Let's take this opportunity to make our position even stronger."

Arsenal take on Everton at the Emirates later today, knowing that a victory will move them above Manchester United into third place in the table.
