Steve Bould, Jens Lehmann 'to be axed by Unai Emery'

Unai Emery will reportedly raid former club Paris Saint-Germain for five backroom-staff members, which could push Steve Bould and Jens Lehmann towards the Arsenal exit.

New Arsenal manager Unai Emery is planning a backroom shake-up that could spell the end for Steve Bould and Jens Lehmann, according to a report.

The 46-year-old is still settling into his role after being appointed on a three-year deal earlier this month, joining the Gunners on the back of winning a domestic treble at Paris Saint-Germain.

Emery now intends to bring in five of his closest allies from PSG, with The Sun reporting that club chiefs have given the go-ahead for a mass change in the dugout.

Assistant coaches Juan Carlos Carcedo and Pablo Villa are said to have been lined up to replace Boro Primorac and Bould, while Julen Masach will replace Tony Colbert as fitness coach and Javi Garcia is in line to become goalkeeping coach.

Victor Manas has been lined up as Arsenal's new video analyst, meanwhile, with Emery hopeful of making each appointment before the start of July.

The report suggests that the North London outfit may find new positions for club legends Bould and Lehmann.
