Ajax have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with AZ Alkmaar to sign Nemanja Gudelj.
The Serbian midfielder has been in positive form this term, having scored 11 goals during his 31 Eredivisie appearances.
"Of course there may be other new players, but the arrival of Nemanja Gudelj is certainly an important first step. I am very happy with his arrival," head coach Frank de Boer told the club's official website.
"He leaves nothing to chance, both inside and outside the field. He is truly an example professional."
Gudelj joined AZ from NAC Breda back in 2013.
